Shed No Tears

Murder is wrong. The commandment "Thou shalt not kill" is correctly translated, "Thou shalt not commit murder." Therefore, the killer of Dr. George Tiller, the late-term abortion doctor gunned down Sunday, May 31st in Wichita, was in the wrong. He sinned.

However, I cannot shed any tears or feel any sadness whatsoever that Dr. Tiller is no longer amongst us. He was a murderer, too. In fact, he was a mass murderer. He killed the most innocent and vulnerable amongst us, the unborn. He has been an abortionist for 21 years. How many babies died at his hands in that time? Thousands upon thousands, undoubtedly. He may have been attending church at the time of his death, but he died an evil man unless he had a sudden unknown, last minute change of heart. He sinned.

My vision of what happens to unrepentant abortionists is that, as they approach the pearly gates, all their victims are there to greet them with the question, "You want in where?" Then, the devil taps them on the shoulder and says with a gleeful smile, "Come with me."
